In what was considered by most internet users a disgusting and unnecessary inclusion of Donnie Mcclurkin's name in its script, Empire writers may have found their match in the wise words Donnie had for them.
In it’s season premiere episode that aired on Fox, the writers scripted
that Donnie would be present at a lesbian gay awards
ceremony if it ever happened. What???!!!!!! The internet went crazy with calls for the head of the writer. What an insult. What audacity? Yes, Pastor Donnie testifies of how God delivered him after being abused by gay family members a long time ago. Empire has no business making a joke of such while trying to serve their master.....(#*^;#).
Anyway, Pst Donnie Mcclurkin has this to say when the 'hula balo' got to him.
“It was brought to my attention via social media that my name was included in a ‘back-handed’ manner during a scene in the FOX show, Empire. What might have been meant for evil, God uses for good! Despite the scripting used by @leedanielsent it has helped bring attention to the gospel of Jesus Christ that I sing and preach, an empowering moment!
