If you follow the Nigerian Hip Hop music scene, this question must have crossed your mind? Day by day, we are having less songs with meaning dominating our airwaves. Even artistes who ordinarily sings classics now sing rubbish just to achieve the sound of the day. What about the beats? Same patterns, same tempo, same voice effects, totally talentless display of thrash being glorified out there. What is causing this menace and what can be done to curb the damage its having on minds of listeners?
