What a Court of Appeal. What a solid point for Mr Saraki when the court sitting in Abuja stopped his proposed arrest by the Code of Conduct Tribunal. What a day.
The Tribunal had on Friday issued the order for Saraki’s arrest for failing to honour its invitation while directing the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to effect his arrest. The drama that played over the weekend included President Buhari asking Saraki to leave him out of his(Saraki's) legal case.
The second day of his trial is live on national television with Saraki nowhere to be found and his lawyer trying hard to mumble the process. Here are some excerpts from the ongoing trial.
