The Winners At AMMA Awards

If you missed the broadcast or live tweets of the AMAA awards, we have compiled a list of winners below for our readers.

Nigeria won in 8 categories which includes a tie between Kemi Lala Akindoju and Hassan Spike for Best Promising Actor. Kunle Afolayan proved his consistency as a hard working filmmaker with October 1st winning in 3 categories and giving life to an otherwise dying career of Sadiq Daba.

I remember watching Sadiq Daba as Bitrus in Cock crows at Dawn, then he was also in Behind the clouds. After that...SILENCE! Today, Uncle Sadiq is the winner of a major award in Africa's leading movie awards ceremony as the Best Actor in A Leading Role.

Many congrats to all the nominees and winners. If you were nominated , you are already a winner. To all nominees from naija who travelled all the way to South Africa but did not win, don't be disappointed. Aspire and do more. You shall shine in due season.
